Hermes Personal Calendar Privacy Policy

How Hermes Personal Calendar handles Google Calendar data.

Effective date: November 4, 2026

Scope

Hermes Personal Calendar is a private, single-user automation tool operated by Nick Godshall. This policy describes the handling of Google Calendar data when Hermes is authorized to access Nick’s Google account.

Data Hermes accesses

With Nick’s authorization, Hermes can access Google Calendar information needed to fulfill calendar requests. This can include calendar names; event titles, descriptions, dates and times; locations; attendees; conferencing details; and availability. Hermes may also create, update, or delete calendar events when Nick explicitly directs it to do so.

How data is used

Hermes uses calendar information only to provide personal calendar briefings, answer calendar-related questions, identify scheduling conflicts, and carry out calendar actions requested by Nick. Hermes does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sale.

Storage and sharing

Google OAuth credentials are stored locally in Nick’s Hermes environment and are used only to access the authorized Google account. Relevant calendar information may be included in requests to the AI model provider configured by Nick when needed to generate a calendar briefing or answer a calendar request. Hermes does not sell Google user data or share it with advertising networks.

Retention and control

Calendar information is retained only as needed to provide the requested personal automation. Nick can revoke Hermes’s Google access at any time through Google Account third-party access and can delete the local Hermes OAuth credentials.
